Deep Canvassing Training
Details:
The Montana Democratic Party is looking for volunteers to be trained to do Deep Canvassing -- knocking on doors or phone canvassing to spark conversations. Canvassing has started and will run through the end of August. Training will be done via Zoom on Monday, July 12th, from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.

Deep Canvassing stems from a simple idea; you can change minds through conversations. Canvassers use this method to engage voters in a conversation to reconnect with them based on values, not partisanship. It's a relationship-building process with voters.
If you're upset by the direction the MT Legislature is taking, you know we have to have a Democratic majority. You can help turn the tide. We need a long-term strategy to increase the number of ticket-splitters and get them to vote for our candidates. “Deep Canvassing” is that strategy. We need YOU to be part of it.
Phone-banking and door-to-door canvassing options available. If you can participate 1-2 hours/week through end of August, that would help us get to our goal.
