Flathead Democratic Women General Meeting - Virtual Meeting this Month

To access the Flathead Democratic Women's meeting online:

  • We will use the "Zoom" application to stream the meeting over the internet.
  • To access the meeting, we will provide a link to click, or copy & paste  into your browser, to access when the event is closer.
  • Step two: Zoom will prompt you for the password. Enter the password, which will be emailed the morning prior to the meeting.  If you need to get on the Flathead Democratic Women's email list, click here:
  • You will need to download the Zoom app and install it on your computer first. We highly recommend clicking the link prior to the meeting and doing that install, if you don't already have Zoom.  This will take a few minutes. Follow the instructions on the Zoom web page.
  • You will have the ability to turn your microphone on and off during the meeting. You should start the meeting with it muted. Unmute to speak or ask a question.

Guest speaker: The speaker for our Oct. 26th Zoom meeting will be Sally Ericsson.  She served on Gov. Bullock's task force that just released the Montana Climate Solutions Plan, a framework to combat and adapt to a warming climate.  She will provide an overview of that plan and of Vice-President Bidden's climate plan.

Background: Sally Ericsson is a strategic consultant for select non-profit organizations and foundations on climate change and natural resource conservation policies, and she serves on the Boards of Directors of the Environmental Protection Network and Montana Conservation Voters. She is a member of Governor Bullock’s Solutions Council. Working for two US presidents, Sally oversaw energy, climate, conservation and environmental policy at the White House Office of Management and Budget during the Obama administration and natural resource policies at the White House Council on Environmental Quality during the Clinton administration. She has Also held various leadership positions on Capitol Hill and for environmental non-profit organizations.
